Try something new at the Smithsonian American Art Museum! The module version of “Ghosts of a Chance” is available for you to play. Decipher codes, follow treasure maps, send text messages, and uncover hidden objects in this multimedia scavenger hunt. You will need a cell phone with text messaging enabled, comfortable shoes, plenty of energy, and a sense of adventure. Ghosts of a Chance is available for the public on a monthly basis and can also be played by appointment for groups 10+. The game is suitable for ages 12 and over (grown-ups included) and takes approximately ninety minutes to complete. The Alternate Reality Game (ARG) “Ghosts of a Chance” ran from July 18 through October 25, 2008.
